Katie Carbone has been with the Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange Education Foundation since 2015 and manages programs for high school youth to expose them to careers in construction, architecture, engineering, and the trades. She was a top ten finalist in the 2019 Social Venture Partner’s Fast Pitch competition at the Golden 1 Center where she won more than $22,000 in cash and in-kind contributions for her organization.

Katie’s greatest passion is for helping others and donates her time after work to mentoring women at recovery homes in Sacramento. She also serves on the usher’s ministry at her church, several high school CTE Advisory Boards, and has been a proud member of the Metro EDGE Develop Committee for over four years.
